Groom's Dinner and Bachelorette Party

The evening before the wedding, we had the Groom's dinner at Bucca di Beppo in Seattle. Devan and I wanted our families to have to work as little as possible (despite the fact that they all did a TON to help get all the details of the wedding just right-I am forever grateful for everyone that made the day as special as it was), so doing the dinner at a restaurant just seemed to be the right thing-no cleanup, no cooking, no set up. It was great. The food was excellent, the decor was *maybe* a little questionable (as you'll see in some of the pictures), but all in all, it was so great to have all our closest family and friends there to celebrate with us. It was such a fun evening and I'm grateful for everyone that could come. Special thanks to one of my best friends, Marcelle for taking pictures at the dinner. She is an amazing photographer and if you ever need a photographer, she's your gal. You can check out her stuff at marcellecalder.com. Seriously. Do it.

My best college girlfriends minus 1, plus a photobomb by my brother, Mike.

That's better

Loving all the family shots.

My cute, lovely parents, who came home from their mission in Ukraine for 2 weeks just for my wedding. I am so SO grateful they could come home to celebrate with us. It just wouldn't have been the same without them there.

Devan's awesome parents-I sure do love these two! They have been so supportive throughout the wedding chaos.

Like I said, questionable decor...I hope my mom doesn't turn around! ;)

Devan's brother and sister, as well as Chet and Yolette and Steve's wife, Stella. Chet and Yolette made our amazing wedding cake, which you will see in the wedding post!

My second mom, Wendy!

Who doesn't love chocolate? Or cheesecake? Mmm...

This was some crazy wedding candle thing the restaurant did for us for good luck. It was kind of funny.

Congrats to Marcelle for being one of the few to actually get a picture of us kissing during the wedding festivities!!

Sisters!

Following the dinner, I was immediately whisked away to my bachelorette party. Oh my gosh, it was so hilarious and fun! More of my friends came who couldn't make it to the dinner party, which made it all the more fun! We did an "exercise class" to burn off all the calories we had just eaten at dinner...we'll just leave it at that. I'm so glad my sisters have my best interest in mind!

After our aerobics class, we went to Theater Sports in Seattle, where we had a reserved bachelorette party section. The fun part of this was that the improv actors did a whole musical skit of Devan and I's first date. It was SO funny!!

The whole group! I'm so glad that everyone could make it!

And, what bachelorette party night is complete without riding on the giant pig statue in Pike Place Market? I don't think it's possible. Haha. Thanks ladies, for an amazingly fun and memorable night!!
