Switzerland

We started off our post-Italy travels by heading up north to Switzerland! I've always wanted to go hiking in the Swiss Alps and just be surrounded by the beauty of those mountains. Unfortunately, it was still a little too snowy to go on some of the main hikes, but we still got to see some amazing scenery! We stayed in Bern for a couple of days so that we could do a session on the Switzerland temple. Little fun fact, this is the first temple built outside the US and Canada. It was great to do a session there. I always love being in the temple.

I also love seeing the name of the church in different languages!

Einstein's house was also in Bern, so we went there.

After Bern, we went to Luzern for a day. Such a fun little town, and I'm glad we got a chance to stop there to see it.

Beautiful.

We took a cogwheel train up Mt. Pilatus. It was a beautiful ride up and quite an interesting ride. Super steep grade. Glad we didn't have to hike up it! :)

Snow!

This guy was great!

Mm...Apple strudel with delicious vanilla crème sauce.

So, everything in Switzerland is super expensive. Including food. So we were tired of spending $50/meal, so we went to a grocery store to get PB&J and pringles for a few of our meals. Quite the cuisine, but way cheaper.

This was our ride down the mountain.

Switzerland was great. But on to Austria!
