Baby announcement!

Everyone knows about this already, but it needs to be documented on the blog for posterity sake :) Devan and I are expecting a baby girl!! Due October 17th! We are very excited, and I had to take some announcement pictures, so here they are.

Luckily, I have pink shoes to celebrate the occasion!

We had a gender reveal party with my family. I made cupcakes with both blue and pink frosting-half and half. The correct gender had some chocolate in the middle. My family had to guess which gender they thought it might be. It was a lot of fun!

RaeAnn thought it was a boy...even though she consulted the ancient Chinese birthing calendar (or something) and it told her it was a girl. :)

It's a girl! It's pretty amazing how much I'm feeling her kick now that I'm almost 7 months pregnant. I'm glad I can feel her now-it's feeling so much more real, but as much as she's kicking, I wonder what we're in for when she's here! We're looking forward to it though! I'm so happy to be adding to our happy family! I know Devan is going to be a great Dad.
