Mother's Day!
I had a lovely Mother's Day! I got all three meals made for me (super delicious I might add), we took a nice walk around the botanical gardens, got to spend some time with my Mom, Dad and brother for dinner, and some beautiful weather to spend some time outside with Nicole.
I got this cute card at church.
And I had a little Nicole photo shoot while I played with my fancy pants camera!
I'm so blessed to be this little girl's mommy!
7 months!
Time is just flying by with this little girl! I can hardly call her little anymore! We've enjoyed going on walks outside, hiking, biking and just playing and having fun!
This was on Super Bowl Sunday, representing with a Seahawks pacifier. Too bad the outcome wasn't the one we wanted!
This was shortly after she started figuring out how to use her hands. It's really crazy how all of the sudden she really started to understand her body and how to use it. This little ball was, and still is, her favorite toy.
She found her feet! And I recently found out that this is a yoga pose-that's called the "happy baby". Which hopefully means I'm doing something right if she's doing that!
First family hike! We've been loving this great weather!
Her best Chris Farley imitation with that smile, chubby cheeks and double chin.
Wallace Falls hike!
Taking a snooze in her Rocky sleeper. Thanks Aunt Stella and Uncle Steve!
One of Nicole's best friends, Hunter.
I can't get over how grown up she looks in this picture!
Devan was out of town one weekend, so Nicole and I went hiking on Rattlesnake Mountain.
She's enjoying her jumper seat, and we enjoy that she enjoys it :)
She's had some pretty epic poops, too! It's a pretty regular topic of discussion in our house, now.
Enjoying some Grandma time on Conference Sunday
Easter Dress!
She's just so darn cute!
This was a 6 month old picture, she totally refused to look at the camera.
Nicole hanging out with all the neighborhood kids. She's pretty popular on our street :)
Sleepy girl.
First bike ride! She got really tuckered out on the way with all that sitting while momma pedaled away!
Play date with the neighbor!
We love this little girl!
Nicole's first Christmas
So maybe I'm 5 months late in posting this...but I wanted to blog about Nicole's first Christmas, and our second as a Baker family!
Nicole's Aunt Victoria got her the cutest Christmas dress, so I had to take some pictures of her in it. It's also what she wore to her first visit with Santa!
This was our tree for the season. The star is a little sad, I could never quite Gerry-rig it so that it would stand up straight!
Nicole's first ornament! I didn't realize until after that the ornament said something about hands, and I was supposed to put a handprint on there, but who can get a 2 month old to open their hand long enough to get a decent handprint? I settled for her foot!
Grandma Baker getting some Christmas Nicole snuggles...
...and Devan getting some Paul snuggles! This was at the Arnesen family Christmas get together.
Victoria, Nicole and I.
The grandkids acted out the nativity scene, and Nicole had a key role in it this year! Also, Nicole is eyeing her first Christmas gift very intently!
We also volunteered to be Mary and Joseph for the live Nativity at the annual Festival of Nativities that our church puts on.
sorry this is sideways, but this is Nicole's first Santa picture!
And this is at our ward Christmas party!
It was a wonderful season for us. We sure enjoyed celebrating as a family of three!
