Summer Time in Seattle!

We've had some great time this summer at home after our trip. I've been loving the sunshine, and even the heat we've had hasn't been too bad for me being pregnant (thank goodness!) Devan got a new bike and has been doing some trail riding. I'm looking forward to next summer so we can go riding together! This was one of his first bike rides on his new bike! I went with him a couple of times before my belly was a little too big :)

We of course did some hiking over the beginning of the summer as well. This was up at Poo Poo Point.

We've had some great boating adventures with Paul and RaeAnn and their girls. It's been so much fun hanging out with them and their girls!

So, I had to include this. At work, we had a pregnant patient come through where the OB doc needed to check on the baby right after surgery. She had this fancy little handheld US machine that's basically the size of a large cell phone. While we were waiting for the patient to come, we got to sneak into another room and check on my baby :). It's amazing how far technology has come!

I got to attend my brother Brad's graduation! I'm so proud of him for getting a double major and getting his degrees!

More boating adventures! Devan with Jenna and Katie Ann.

For the 4th of July, Devan and I met up with his parents and went on a hike in Mt. Rainier National Park to Comet Falls. It was a beautiful day and fun to hang out with them, as always.

No visit to Roy is complete without a visit with Rocky the dog :)

Devan and I also took a weekend in July to just hang out down in Portland. We did some hiking, ate some delicious food and went to the temple. It was a nice and relaxing weekend.

The Portland temple is really beautiful.

I got a hammock for our backyard, and this is my hammock selfie :)

We went to my dear friend Kim's wedding. It was super fun and she was just beautiful and it was so great to see her so happy! We have been friends since the third grade and I couldn't be happier for her that she's found such a great guy to spend her life with!

We had Steve and Stella come up and we spent some time on the boat with my brother. Devan is up on the wakeboard and Tim gave it a try before injuring his hamstring pretty good. It was a fun time up until then, though. This is Tim and Steve, relaxing at Coulon park while we were waiting to get on the boat. I couldn't resist taking this picture, haha.

Cute Macey! Who started saying KelKel at family dinner one night. I'm such a proud auntie!

And this is Devan's new toy. He got these little dirt bike motorcycles to play with and he rides them with a couple of guys from our ward on some private trails. He's been enjoying playing with these and has been decking them all out and getting all the accessories he needs :)

I don't think I'm quite ready for summer to be done yet, but I AM ready for this baby to come!! A month and a half! We're looking forward to it!

California Rafting

It had been a couple of years, but we got out on the rafts again this year thanks to Liz and Zaron! Devan unfortunately couldn't come with us, but I didn't want to give up going on one more rafting adventure before I had the baby. Despite being 6 months pregnant, it was a great time! I rode down with Liz and Zaron's family which was a good time.

Liam spent the majority of the time Nintendo DS'ing it on the way down. He was super excited about the long battery life, haha.

We rafted for 3 days and 2 nights. Paul and RaeAnn's family joined us this year and it was a blast!

Brad and Charlotte showing me what a great time they're having, haha. I think they didn't want their picture taken :)

Liam enjoying some time on the tube.

Brad and I :)

It was beautiful weather and a super great time! The river was a little low at times, but overall it was a great and fun trip! Our raft got caught on some rapids on the first day and actually dumped about half the cargo, including Brad and I. Thank goodness for dry bags that contain dry clothes!! I was not anticipating going for a cold dip that day, haha!

So glad to spend some adventure time in some great weather! Thanks, as always, for coordinating, Lizzie!
