DC

So, hey. I went on this trip to DC with my friend Jessi in July. She was able to stay for the 4th. I, unfortunately, had to work. Meh. But it's OK. We still got to do some pretty awesome stuff. Oh, but remember that time when my flight got delayed twice, then cancelled, then got placed on another flight, but wasn't guaranteed a seat (though United said otherwise), so as I was arguing with the Delta attendant, I watched the flight go without me. Then I was booked on another flight, on standby, got on that plane, then there was a row of seats missing, then they asked me to get off the plane, and then I got back on and FINALLY made it out of Seattle. Quite possibly, the worst flight experience I've had.
So, we went to Gettysburg and watched a civil war reenactment. And Jessi was considering some new clothing to fit in with the crowd...

We went to Georgetown-the university, and to get cupcakes. Delish.

The White House, naturally.

Lots of walking to memorials, and lots of instagramming.

The Capitol.

Arlington Cemetery.

It was a fun trip!! I always love hanging out with Jessi.

Bridal Pictures

Here are some of my bridal pictures that I took a few days before the wedding. Special shoutout to RaeAnn for being awesome and doing my hair, taking me to do my makeup and making my most beautiful, awesome bouquet! My parents and I went to Luther Burbank Park to get the pictures done. It was nice to have the time there with them. Though I did feel a little strange when I changed into my wedding dress in the parking lot...and walking around the park in my wedding dress.

My sister, Liz, let me use the broach on my flowers. It actually belonged to my dear Aunt Artelle. I loved having it on my bouquet and to have a piece of her with me for my wedding day.

Seriously, is that not the most gorgeous bouquet?! RaeAnn is AWESOME!!!

Personal fave.

Afterwards, went to Family Home Evening for the Arnesen Family lip sync night!! Intrigued? Stay tuned...!
